Are You Willing To Go Beyond the Lesson Plan?
Whether you are a new teacher just beginning your career or a seasoned veteran looking for a change, we invite you to join our community of educators and administrators as we work together to prepare our students for a successful future. We are looking for the teacher who is passionate about building confidence in children by helping them achieve their goals. We are looking for the kind of teacher who changes a child's life by encouraging them and believing in them. We are looking for the teacher who is patient and kind to the child who is hurting and neglected and the teacher who can push even the highest performing student to reach even higher expectations. Are you the teacher we are looking for?
Who We Are
The Copiah County School District serves approximately 3,000 students in grades K-12 at Crystal Springs and Wesson. Located in Southwest Mississippi, we are a short drive from shopping and dining in the Jackson Metro area and close enough for a day trip to Biloxi or New Orleans. Come visit and see what we have to offer. Our rural setting takes you away from the daily traffic found in larger cities but not too far to enjoy the conveniences of big city living.
